This poem was about both my struggles with medical freedom, and my struggles of not being taken seriously in many aspects of my life. After taking a step back, I've realized that what I've written is so much more than just that. I feel it echoes a sentiment that many feel very deeply and personally. I wanted to publish it here for, not only the chance to give others an opportunity to see their feeling put into words, but also the opportunity to see that we all are not alone in this struggle.
